Abstract
There are two groups which are found in Pakistan, one group with religious mind and the other with secular mind. The group with religious mind set and Islamic scholars want the implement and dominancy of Islamic principles and laws in this country. In Pakistan’s Parliament and judiciary, most of the people are of secular mind set, and have been educated from secular institutions. Therefore, the laws passed and interpreted here are according to secularism, because they want to turn it into a modern state. On the other hand, Islamic scholars and the group with religious thoughts, want the laws and interpretations of laws to be completely in accordance to the principles of Islam, but due to their minority in parliament, judiciary etc, they does not face success in this implementation, though this group ismuch more in number than the secular group, in Pakistan.
